2008.
Happy New Year, friends.
There wasn't a whole lot of fantastic music released last year, but here's twelve albums that I listened to more than once. One of them was released in '06, but I just don't care. Haha.
The Little Ones - Sing Song
Silverchair - Young Modern
Manchester Orchestra - Like A Virgin Losing A Child
The Starting Line - Direction
Ruth - Secondhand Dreaming
Rufus Wainwright - Release The Stars
Surrogate - Love Is For The Rich
Sea Wolf - Leaves In The River
The Bird And The Bee - The Bird And The Bee
The Thrills - Teenager
Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
Nick Drake - Family Tree

Happy new year to you too :)
I love music. Lots of those are really good. I only have one of them though lol...but I'm working on getting some of the others. :D
Happy New Year to you too :)
Truth be told, I've only listened to a one or two of those...
I think I'll add that to my things to do list this year :)
:D
Happy New Year!
Manchester Orchestra = <3
Can you guess two of my favourite albums of 2007? Haha.
Happy New year to you too Matt! I hope your year is filled with so many wonderful happy days! God Bless you!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, MATTY ! :D
i hope you had a great one..
:)

Manchester Orchestra was the third I wrote down too on my list. :)
Uh.. Young Modern I totally regretted buying. I really didn't like it that much.. haha
happy 2008! i had wanted to go watch a movie over new years just for something different, however i couldn't convince anyone to go with me.... i guess they all like to watch a ball drop... really really slowly. my brother wants them to just drop it and watch it smash. i agree, that would be fun :)
I have to honestly say I haven't heard most of them. I really like Ruth's cd. I bought one for my mom and she liked it as well. LOL
I like Direction as well. I'm going to see The Starting Line at the end of March. You should come. ;) (JK, of course.)
I heard The Bird and The Bee on your myspace - not bad. :)
A friend of mine is a huge Manchester Orchestra fan. I heard of them through her. She sometimes does merch for them when they are in Salt Lake.
I haven't made a list. I'm bad at picking favorites. I never would remember what came out in 2006 vs. 2007 anyway. LOL I'll think about it, though. Making favorite cd's lists this time of year is rather en vogue. :)
Uh, wow...okay. :) I guess a lot of people are asking you what music you're listening to. :D
I like Cobra Starship myself
haha, I'm just kidding.. actually I haven't listened much to them, but what I have heard, I'm pretty sure I like(d) Midtown so much more. :)
So.. uh... haha, I totally forgot what I was going to say next. Lol, I had a long night last night.
Anyways, thank you! :)
Wait, can you say much more in a sentence like that together?? I don't think so...right?
Haha, I am so tired...how about I like(d) them much better.
There how's that?
...Much better. :D
Omg, haha, I'm going now.
Hmmm... I spent 3 hours driving up 77 for my New Years Eve show in Cleveland and 3 hours driving down 77 today on my way back home listening to most of those songs. I find that ironic. You have good taste.
i was somewhat suprised to not see the rocket summer on the list....it was my number one....but then again...this is (your) list.
Happy New Year to you!
happy new year.
angels and airwaves i-empire was pretty amazing. you should give it a listen.
hahaha oh man.
I only JUST got the reason of your blog post title. haha that is fantastically brilliant.. and so you.
Haha Brittany. I had to think about that one for awhile. xD
Wow... lol
So Brittany just asked me if I got your blog title.. and I really didn't... until she said something and I re-read it.
That's amazing, lol
I love it!
:D
I just cracked up for longer than I probably should have.
Happy New Year! :D

You're so punny.
happy new year, matt!
i've heard a few of the bands you mentioned,
but never really listened to their music.
maybe i will,
as a new years resolution..
i need a bit of spice to my music collection!

Happy new year to! All the way from Holland... :-D As they say in holland 'gelukkig nieuwjaar!'
Hope maybe you'll come this year, or next. I really want to see relient k on a tour to Holland! :-)
Do you already have plan's for it?
I really like you’re band. It's not really popular in the Netherlands yet, but I’m trying, by talking about it very much ;-). In the Christian-store here, are a view cd’s of you’re band. I’ve got epithetic ep, and five score and seven years ago. The last one I needed to order :-p. Very very good! Really hope you’ll come to Holland, ‘cause you’re band really have helpt me to become a Christian.

Is that actually an iPod that you're holding?
Love!
P.S.

Yeah, I haven't heard a single one! And I've only heard of Ruth.
I think you and I have different music tastes. =[
But we both know Relient K rocks!

Coolio Ruth is awesome and is right to be on that list.
Haha! The title is great. I get it now. Swell.
I still don't get the title.
Sorry.
You know what sucks? As much as I love Matt for being clever, most of his wittiness gets lost on me. =[
Whatever.
lol thanks paigey.
And yeah, Five Score And Seven Years Ago all the way!!!!!!!!
But we all know, Matt's too modest to tell us that Relient K is the best.
That's why we love him.
Well that's not the only reason why.
But you know what I'm saying.
I hope.
Cause I don't.
Yeah.
Love you Matt!
hehe i know what you mean! matty your so humble actually you deserve a day to brag! oops maybe u already celebrated that holiday in your next post =D
