The Hiram Terriers

We had a really lovely time playing in Hiram, OH last night. After rehearsing it for the first time Friday, we decided to play a new song called The Scene And Herd. I'll be tracking the vocals this week, and I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Secondhand Serenade joined in as well, and it was a joy to meet and hang out with those dudes.

We did a fun woodsy photo shoot during the day (hopefully some of the shots will make it into the Bird And The Bee Sides packaging).

Also, I got to congratulate the Hiram Women's softball team for advancing to their tournament, and I got to wish my friend Nina a 24 hour belated happy birthday.

And this is my nephew, Hudson.

In a hat.

I like the lead singers hair.. it defies gravity. :)

I think Jered mentioned that photo shoot in his blog. I can't wait to see them.

From what I've heard so far of The Scene And Herd, I like. Too bad Nina didn't record ALL of the song haha.. I guess I can wait to hear the rest.

oh, and Hudson looks like you.
I thought it was actually you at first.

Scene and Herd = amazing. I have no idea why I didn't record the whole song. lol.

Secondhand Serenade was really good, I was really surprised when they played cause I had only heard his acoustic stuff ^^
They seem like they're really nice :)

Anywho, I can't wait to see the pictures from that photoshoot. ^^

Does woodsy mean there're trees?
There should be trees. ^^

And thanks for the belated birthday wishes =) It was good to see/talk to you again =)

And that is one cute kid.
The hat is pretty snazzy as well.

Okay so I definitely didn't know that Nina went to a show...I don't know how I didn't know...but I didn't. Hah. HOORAY FOR BIRTHDAYS!!!

Your nephew is cute.

I saw the link for video to the new song, but haven't made my way over to listen. I've been hearing of Second Hand Serenade a lot lately, and haven't listened to their music yet either. So much good music, so little time.

Hope the pics turned out well. :)
I'm sure the softball team was happy to be acknowledged.

Hudson (hat and all) is definitely adorable. And I thought the same as the others. He does look a little like you. :)

I like to read what you wrote because you like what you do ( also it's not everyday that we can read a singer blog ).

yeah ! Some photos of Relient k with Ethan Luck, great !
Ohw, I miss Dave Douglas, even if I never see you in a concert but his leaving will be "real" when we will watch the BABS photoshoot.
The BABS, it's easier to write :]

ps _ excuse again and again and again if my english isn't good enough for you to understand me ..but at the same time I don't understand every word you write haha .it's pathetic.
ps2 _ Your nephew seems to be your little bro.
Or you when you were young (I suppose you seemed to look like him)

Hey Matty!
Guess what? My bestfriend [I took her to my first Relient K concert with me] is sitting here with me and I showed her your awesome blog.
Your nephew, Hudson, looks almost EXACTLY like her little brother, Logan, who's going to be 5 next week.
The similarities are just amazing!

Just thought you should know!
