Ill Eagle

I was outside this morning, and I saw an eagle soaring above me. He was looking for breakfast or lunch... whatever meal eagles eat at 10:45am. Anyway, he kept circling directly overhead, so I squinted my eyes and pretended I was holding a kite string that led all the way up to him. I got to fly that eagle for about six minutes, and as he flew farther and farther away, I thought, "Wow. That is a lot of kite string."

There will probably be more news today.

seeing eagles always is a fun sight.

one time, my friend and i were driving towards the beach,
and six or seven eagles were flying in the sky, having fun.

it was quite amazing; nature is beautiful.

i never thought about flying them as kites though.
it would have been a lot of string! :)

oh, glad to hear about ethan!
i can't wait to see how awesome he is.

take care, matty t.

All I have to say about that is: you are very lucky!! The only birds you can see around my area are ravens (or crows. whatever the difference is, I have no idea). Quails...and... that's it.
Anyway, happy half birthday! :)

Haha I feel kind of silly because I'm like one of the last people to know about Ethan but I was off with my sweet trombone skills at Jazz Band. Oh and of course, you know, school. ;D

Ah well. You Mr. Thiessen have got an imagination that far surpasses my own and I've got a huge grin on my face because Relient K finally has a new drummer. So I hope you guys pop up to BC sometime soon. :) It's getting warmer, I promise!

Lol, I'm gonna help you find a better eagle picture, ok?

Man.. I love eagles. Aren't they awesome?! They don't look that big in the sky, but when you see them up close, like when they're on a trainer's arm or something they're huge! One claw is half the size of my face, I swear.. lol.

Aww, thanks for writing about this. :)

p.s. fyi, awesome eagle river raft guide adventure.. thingy I heard about in Alaska (and actually in NorWash too, thanks for reminding me...), if you're looking for a vaca or something.. I'm def. gonna have to go on that someday. :)

I love eagles. I took a cool pic of one at the zoo once, but I'd like to go back and try to get a better one now that I know my camera a little more. They are amazing to watch. I don't think I would have ever thought to "fly" an eagle on kite string before. There is something fun and childlike about the thought. I'll have to try it if an eagle and I ever cross paths.
